I thank you for letting my class and me borrow your book, letters, magazines, ect. We all really appreciate it! Seeing everything that you brought in, really helped me understand how you felt, getting a note in the mail saying that your husband has been lost in action. I learned the importance of history and how much everything you brought in means to you. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to see everything that you did.

Dear Mary Rita Sailer ,
I am thankful that you gave the time to let us see the picture and the stuff from the thing your husband had while he was in world war 2. But I’m happy that I could see and learn more about the Nazi and world war 2. I was surprise to see the Nazi flag.

Dear Mary Rita Sailer,
Thank you for letting us borrow and look at Jim Sailer's things from when he was in the war. I learned many things from them like, the conditions of the camps and how hard it was to be in the war, how he sacrificed his life to support the U.S., and about how terrible the Nazi's were. Thank you again, I thought it was very interesting and unique.
Sincerely,Logan Flynn
Thanks For Letting Us See Your Precious Valuables
I would like to thank you Mrs. Sailor for letting my class look at the things that your husband, Jim Sailor, brought back from the World War II. I appreciate your generosity for letting my class view your valuables. I like to show my respect for your husband for helping America fight in the war and for being courageous during his time of being captured.
SINCERELY, Demante Culpepper
Three things I learned was that: Jim Sailer was in the airborne division. He was capture by the Germans and token to the prisoner concentration camp. The last thing was that he escaped but came back without being noticed or caught.PS: He was a very brave man (:Thank you for letting us look at the books and the Nazi flag. from Joi Gree

I highly appreciate that you allowed my class to look at your artifacts. I learned new things as Mr. rush was telling our class about your husband’s history. & I think that he was a brave man; I wish I could have met him, or even met you, based on what my teacher have told us. So, THANK YOU Mrs. Sailer & I wish you the best!

I thank you for letting us see the stuff they had from back in those days because i never would have seen nothing like that because i don't think nobody in my family had to go to war like that. and also would like to thank your husband because he went to war for his people to help us and that is a big thing to do in ww2 against the Nazis. Dear Mary Rita Sailer ,
I learned alot of things by looking at your husband stuff. 1 thing was that being in the war was real hard. Another was that when you escape you have to go back so you wouldn't be killed. Another was that after the war ended when the people was getting set free the people started eating and their stomach exploded and died ): . I would like to thank you for letting us see some of your husband's things without that we probably wouldn't really understand all the stuff Mr.rush was telling us. So once again THANK YOU (:

Dear Mrs. Mary Rita Sailer,
I have learned so much from your husband history it was amazing of what your nephew showed the class. I was listening like I never listened before. It was amazing how I saw the Nazi flag up close. The most three important things that I had learned was that how he could of died from not eating and then he finally ate a little by little everyday till he could eat how he use to eat. The second thing that I had learned was that he had it easy when he escaped because he was the 24th person when they were counting and there were 24 peoples was there. My third thing was that he finished the war. Thank you for letting Mr. rush bring those things in I really learned a lot.

What I learned/thank you
What I learned was that war is more sick than people can imagine and you experience. Another thing is that shoes back then were made of rubber and that couldn’t have been comfortable. And finally that having loved ones in danger and away must have been hard
